Getting more self-employed to make EPF contributions


PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund has embarked on a four-week promotion blitz to get the self-employed and those without fixed income to contribute to the EPF through its 1Malaysia Retirement Savings Scheme.
Themed Self Employed? You Can Still Contribute to EPF and Retire Happy, EPF general manager for public relations Nik Affendi Jaafar said the advertising campaign aimed to encourage this sector to contribute voluntarily to the fund based on what they can afford.
